After a week in the mountains, we were thrilled to find Hotel Chavin. The staff kindly moved us to a quiet room at the back, away from the busy street. Anna and her team were incredibly friendly and even gave us full body hugs when we left. The location was perfect for exploring markets, restaurants, and shops. The room was clean, had a good heating system, and excellent security. Emmanuel, a staff member, was helpful and kind. the hotel provided a comfortable stay and is the best option in this part of Peru.
Would recommend this hotel.

After a week in the mountains, we finally found the comfort we were looking for at Hotel Chavin. The staff kindly moved us to a quieter room and provided exceptional friendly service, including full body hugs at departure. The location was perfect for exploring markets, restaurants, and shops. The room was super clean with a good heating system, and the security was great. The staff also helped with arranging private transportation to nearby sites. The food was good too. Hotel Chavin is the best option in this part of Peru.

Located in a vibrant area, surrounded by markets, restaurants, and shops. Ate a delicious meal at the hotel restaurant. The staff were extremely helpful, especially Emmanuel who provided assistance and kindness throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable with a good heating system. The hotel had great security measures in place.
During our stay, the hotel was undergoing maintenance work which caused some issues with our reservation. The elevator was not functioning, resulting in having to climb to the 6th floor.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Chavin in Barranca. The location was perfect, just a few blocks away from the market and the main square. The room on the 5th floor was spacious and the elevator made it easy to get around. The hot water shower had excellent pressure, providing a refreshing experience. The staff were accommodating and even helped us arrange a private trusted taxi to visit nearby attractions. The daily cleaning kept the room spotless, and the easy check-in and check-out process made our stay hassle-free. Having access to parking was another convenient feature, although we didn't need it. Lastly, the hotel provided a strong and reliable Wi-Fi signal throughout most of the property.
While the hotel provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay, there were a couple of drawbacks. The hotel was noisy, making it difficult to get a restful night's sleep.
